On the first two days of the national holidays, thousands of people flock to Nhat Le and Bao Ninh beaches or nearby streams and waterfalls in Bo Trach district of Dong Hoi city to cool off amid the summer heat.

As part of the occasion, Dong Hoi city organises a carnival featuring the participation of 450 artists, models, and dancers.  

Hoang Thi Thanh Nhung, vice chairwoman of Dong Hoi City’s People's Committee, says the carnival's programme is part of Dong Hoi Cultural Tourism Week with the aim of developing unique cultural tourism products along the Central Heritage Road.
