* Mr. Phan Lam Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leading representative of the Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and Dong Hoi city People's Committee paid a visit and gave presents to ninety-four-year-old heroic mother Tran Thi Nu in Quang Phu commune, wounded soldier Pham Van Thai in Dong Son ward and family of Mr. Tran Van Ran, two martyrs' relative in Duc Ninh Dong ward, etc.

On behalf of provincial leader, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his gratitude to fallen soldiers, heroic mothers and war invalids for their sacrifices for the nation's independence and reunification.

* Mrs. Pham Thi Bich Lua, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party, Permanent Vice-chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee together with leading representative of the Provincial Women's Union, Office of the Provincial People's Committee visited some families in Quang Trach district, namely: wounded soldier Tran Dinh Deo in Quang Van commune; Nguyen Thi Nghi, who is both martyr's wife and mother in Quang Van commune, wounded soldier Tran Van Vun in Quang Long commune.

At her visits to families' home, on behalf of provincial leader, comrade Pham Thi Bich Lua warmly asked the health and life of individuals, families of wounded soldiers and relative of martyrs. The Vice-chairwoman also expressed her gratitude to war invalids and fallen soldiers who sacrificed their life for the nation's independence.

* Comrade Hoang Dang Quang, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party together with leading representative of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Bo Trach district Party Committee paid a visit and granted gifts to the fallen soldiers' and war invalids' families in Bo Trach district.

* Comrade Dinh Minh Thu, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party and leading representative of the Provincial Farmer's Association, People's Committee of Tuyen Hoa district visited and granted gifts to fallen soldiers' and war invalids' families in Tuyen Hoa district.
