People's Police Newspaper helps Quang Binh people repair damages caused by flooding
Attending the ceremony was Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Cong Thuat and representative of the Department of Police, Department of Finance and relevant branches.
In the trip to flood-hit people in the Central provinces, the mission of the People’s Police Newspaper led by Assistant Editor, Colonel Luu Huy Vinh came to Quang Binh and granted VND150 million in relief aid. Of which, VND 100 million was given to flood-hit people to repair the consequences caused by the flooding and VND50 million given to the Department of Police to encourage soldiers who got achievements in prevention and against flood and storm. This is a meaningful activity to help flood-hit people repair the damages and overcome difficulties in their life.
On behalf of flood-hit victims, Vice-chairman Tran Cong Thuat expressed his thanks to the assistant of the People’s Police Newspaper and promised that the provincial leader would hand over this donation to flood-hit families as soon as possible.
