Dutch Lady Vietnam awards scholarships to unfortunate and studious pupils
In 2007-2008 school year, Dutch Lady Vietnam in coordination with the Provincial Department of Education and Training, and Study Promotion Society held a ceremony to award 60 scholarships (worth VND700 thousands for each) to the pupils of 10 schools in two districts of Le Thuy and Quang Ninh.
Den Dom Dom Fund was established in 2002 by Dutch Lady Vietnam and Red Scarf Newspaper for nation-wide primary and secondary pupils who live in difficulties but get excellent studying results. This is one of meaningful community activities of Dutch Lady Vietnam to give a hand in building a better society.
At present, this scholarship program enters into 7th year. In the past 6 years, with the meaningful activities, this Den Dom Dom scholarship program gave thousands of scholarships and gifts to pupils nationwide to encourage them to spend more efforts in their studying to become a useful person for the society.
