Under signed agreement, the Viettel Military Telecommunication Company will provide ADSL Internet Access service at free of charge for 607 schools across the province. The educational network project in Quang Binh is also divided into three stages and expected to complete in the end of 2010. The project is expected to achieve 52.4% of the set plan in the end of 2009 and 100% of schools to be connected to Internet in the end of 2010. This is a great significant activity for the provincial educational sector and is a good opportunity for schools to be connected to Internet and applied information technology in teaching and studying, contributing to implementing the success of Directive No.55/2008/BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training on strengthening teaching, training and applying information technology in educational sector in the 2008-2012 period.
