Attending the ceremony were Mr. Mai Xuan Thu, head of the Department of Public Relation of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Cong Thuat, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; representative of former experts of two provinces of Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue and representative of province-level departments and branches together with former experts of Quang Binh province.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Cong Thuat praised and recorded great achievements and contributions of Quang Binh former experts who helped the Cambodia’s revolution in the 1979-1989 period. Vice-chairman Thuat affirmed that former experts should be proud of their noble international duty. They contributed to building friendship and cooperative relation, further strengthening solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Granting "For international duty" badge to former experts

In order to acknowledge great contributions of Quang Binh former experts, Prime Minister decided to grant "For international duty" badge to 113 individuals and awarded "For international duty" badge to 17 individuals who gained achievements in helping the Cambodia’s revolution in the 1979-1989 period.
