Standing Committee of Provincial People's Council to discuss and approve 20th session's agenda - the 15th Provincial People's Council

(Quang Binh Website) - On May 17, the Standing Committee of Provincial People’s Council held a joint sitting to discuss and approve the agenda to prepare for the 20th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Luong Ngoc Binh presided over the meeting.

Attending the meeting were members of the Standing Committee of People's Council, People’s Committee, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province and representatives of related departments and branches.

Under the plan, the 20th session of the 15th Provincial People’s Council will be taken place in three days (from 07 to 09 July 2010). At this session, the Provincial People’s Council will consider and hear more than twenty reports and statements presented by departments and branches, and approve eight resolutions relating to the tasks for the province’s socio-economic development.

In order to prepare for the session, delegates of the Provincial People’s Council will contact with voters on June 07-08, 2010 to report on the implementation of the province’s socio-economic development tasks in the first five months of 2010 and collect the voters' ideas and questions to submit to the Provincial People's Council.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman Luong Ngoc Binh approved the draft agenda of the 20th session and asked the related departments and branches to have a close coordination in the work of preparation for the session, contributing to improve the quality of the 20th session - the 15th Provincial People's Council.
