Kaolin washing plant opening ceremony in Dong Hoi – Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) – The Quang Binh Bohemia Kaolin Limited Company held an opening ceremony of Kaolin washing plant in Dong Hoi – Quang Binh.

The ceremony was attended by Mr Milan Hovorka, Deputy Minister of the Trade and Industry Ministry – Czech Republic; Czech Ambassador to Vietnam; Mr Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of departments and branches at provincial level and related organizations.

Kaolin washing plant in Dong Hoi – Quang Binh with 100% foreign-invested capital is funded by KVK BOHEMIA A.S Company (Czech Republic) with a total invested capital of over USD35 million. The plant is to be operational within 40 years. The plant specializes in manufacturing Kaolin power and products using Kaolin for export. At present, the plant completely installs and gives two Kaolin washing production lines a trial run with a capacity of 50000 tons of Kaolin power and manufactures water paint with 40000 tons of water paint a year.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee stressed that the Kaolin washing plant in Dong Hoi - Quang Binh was the largest project that Czech Republic carries out investment in Quang Binh province (Vietnam). This was a premise to promote investment cooperation between Czech Republic and Vietnam in general and Quang Binh in particular in the coming time. Chairman Hoai also highly valued the investor’s efforts in overcoming difficulties to accelerate the project’s progress. On the side of Quang Binh province, Chairman Hoai affirmed that the province will create favorable conditions for investor to carry out the project. Chairman asked all levels and agencies and related localities to take measures to deal with difficulties, contributing to help the Kaolin washing plant in Dong Hoi – Quang Binh to put into operation effectively.
