(Quang Binh Website) – On November 26, the Provincial People’s Committee held a meeting to sum up 20 years of building and developing Industrial Parks (IPs) and Economic Zones (EZs). Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Quang Binh EZ’s Management Board Nguyen Huu Hoai presided over the meeting. At present, Quang Binh province has two EZs and eight IPs approved by Prime Minister, including the Hon La EZ, the Cha Lo Border Gate EZ, the Northwest Dong Hoi IP, the Hon La Seaport IP, the North Quang Binh IP, the Hon La II IP, the Cam Lien IP, the Bang IP, the South Quan Hau IP and the Ly Trach IP.

Over nearly 10 years of building and developing, the province’s EZs and IPs have created the most favorable conditions to call upon and attract investment, contributing to creating momentum for socio-economic development in the provincial area. The EZs and IPs have initially lured more than VND36,000 billion for investment capital; solved many jobs and improved income for laborers, contributing to promote the shift in labor force structure. The investors in EZs and IPs have invested many big projects, contributing to increasing the province’s budget receipts and creating motive power to attract investment in manufacturing careers and services.
