Chairman of PPC had a working session with the Delegation participating in the Mid-term Donors’ Consultative Group Meeting

At the working, representatives of donors discussed and straightly exchanged their views on issues relating to investment for development in Quang Binh, in which some changes in the ADB’s policy for its operation in Vietnam. In the future, ADB will also put up source of capital for private economy to invest in welfare activities.

Delivering a speech at the working, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai applauded the working visit of the delegation participating in the Mid-term CG to Quang Binh and highly appreciated the support of ODA capital for the projects in Quang Binh province.

He expressed his hope that international organizations, and multilateral and bilateral donors would continuously paid more attention to investment in Quang Binh, especially in the fields like development of infrastructures, construction of traffic road system, agricultural and rural development in association with poverty reduction and guarantee of social security; improving living environment and preventing climate changes; development of education and health; improving welfare activities and preserving the world natural heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
