Exhibition salutes General Giap
A photographic exhibition entitled ‘Commander-in-Chief General Vo Nguyen Giap’ opened at the Quang Binh provincial Museum on December 30.
The exhibition, held jointly by the Quang Binh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Information and Communications, will last through January 5, 2012.

The exhibition displays 200 photos chosen from the 500 presented in the picture book, ‘Commander-in-Chief General Vo Nguyen Giap’, which was recently published by the Culture and Information Publishing House in November.
The photos provide a vivid and accurate portrayal of General Giap, an exemplary student of President Ho Chi Minh and the country’s preeminent military commander, who is highly respected by both his fellow countrymen and international friends.
