Quang Binh Mekong sub-region sustainable tourism development project: Opportunities for cooperation and promotion of implementing action plan for 2012
The meeting was attended by over 30 delegates from agencies, organizations and individuals specializing in investment promotion and independent consultant for NGO and ODA projects in Quang Binh province.
With a total capital of investment and reimbursement in 2012 is USD215,389 (around VND4.5 billion), the Management Board of Quang Binh MeKong Sub - region sustainable tourism development project signs a cooperation agreement with the Quang Binh Tourism Association and Quang Binh Tourism Promotion Center to carry out vocational training programs to develop tourism human resource in Quang Binh province.
The project also helps Quang Binh Province promote its economic and social development; preserve Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park - a World Heritage Site through sustainable tourism development activities; increase awareness of local community; and improve the quality of promotional and advertising activities on cultural values, especially heritage values of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Region.
