Quang Binh: build safe shelters against flooding
(Quang Binh Website) - The project of building safety shelters against flooding in Tan Hoa commune is being urgently completed before the flood season this year with a total investment of VND5 billion, said Mr Cao Quy Ninh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district) on August 9.
Accordingly, two safe shelters against flooding have been built in Co Liem and Yen Tho villages of Tan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district. Each shelter has an area of 220m2.
Two routes of road to shelters with the length of 2km are solidly concreted to create favorable condition for local people to transfer necessaries while escaping flooding.
This will be the safe shelters for over 3,000 people of Tan Hoa commune in the food season.
