224,121 tourists flock to Quang Binh in the first quarter of 2013
(Quang Binh Website) - The province greeted 224,121 tourists in the first three months of 2013, an increase of 10.2% from the same period last year. Of this figure, the number of foreign tourists was 8.826, while 215,295 million were domestic tourists. Major tourist destinations were Phong Nha Cave, Thien Duong Cave, Tam Co Cave, En Cave, Nuoc Mooc Spring and Dong Hoi City.
As estimated, total tourism turnover in the first quarter of 2013 reached VND224,121 million, an increase of 13% from the same period last year; of which revenues from hotels reached VND57,921 million; revenues from ticket sale reached VND7,084 million and other revenues were VND3,359 million.
VND16,433 million was contributed to the State budget, increased by 12% against the same period last year.
