Lao border guard officers trained
The Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province opened a training course for 25 officers from border guard units under the Commands of Laos’ Khammouane and Savannakhet provinces, on September 17th.
It aims to promote Lao officers’ professionalism in conducting assigned tasks, making contributions to the Vietnam-Laos special friendship and the cooperation between the Quang Binh Border Guard Command and the two Lao provinces’ Commands, for the peace, friendship, stability and mutual development along the borderline.
During the course, they are provided with knowledge about the history of the two nations’ relations, national borders, Vietnam-Laos border crossing agreement, plots of hostile forces, patrol and logistics, as well as skills for K54 shooting lesson 1.
After the course, they will sit for a final test.
