Quang Binh: supported to built 3,881 flood-resistant houses

This is the supporting expense to build and repair house for the poor families built in flood-prone areas in the province, helping poor families stabilize their life and improving the living standards for the families living in flood-prone, remote villages in the provice.
Accordingly, the provice has supported 3,881 poor households to build flood-resistant houses with a total investment of VND220.449 million from source of the central budget, local, the "Fund for the Poor", the community, the family and the household's assistance... in the 2014-2016 period (including 2014). Concretely, supported 20% the object, equivalently 775 households; 2015: supported 40% the object, equivalently 1,563 households and 2016: supported 40% the remaining objects, equivalently 1,543 households.
Reportedly, according to the Decision No.48/2014/QD-TTg on August 28 of the Prime Minister to support to the poor families to build flood-resistant houses, the poor families in rural areas will receive VND2 million/household; families living in remote areas that face great difficulties will receive VND14 million/household and while families living in particular areas of difficulty are supported VND16 million/household. In addition, each household will also be able to apply for preferential loans of up to 15 million VND (700 USD) from the Social Policy Bank at an interest rate 03%/year over a 10 year period.
