Representative of provincial Department of Tourism gives flowers to first international guest of 2019

Flight Vj262 of Vietjet Air brought 136 passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh province) at 8:00 on January 1, 2019, including 02 visitors comes from the United States.

At the welcoming ceremony, representative of the provincial tourism sector sent a New Year greeting of peace, happiness and gave flowers to first visitors to the province on first day of new year 2019.
Brittany Coonce, an international visitor from US shared: "We are very surprised and happy to be the first travelers to visit and relax in Quang Binh on first day of new year. I am very excited and will stay here for many days to discover and experience the wonderful and famous destinations of Quang Binh. Wishing the Tourism sector and the people of Quang Binh a happy, healthy and successful new year”.

Mr. Le The Luc, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism said: Welcoming first tourists who "put first foot" in new year 2019 shows the concern of Quang Binh province in general, the provincial Tourism sector in particular, contributing to promote friendly images to domestic and foreign tourists. In 2019, Quang Binh strives to greet 4.3 million visitors, including 250,000 international arrivals. In order to complete the set target, in the coming time, the Tourism sector will implement big advertising programs with global effect such as organizing a Quang Binh tourism promotion program via cinema in Hollywood at the end of January in 2019. Along with that, the provincial tourism industry will continue to improve the quality of services and develop typical and strong tourism products, such as discovery and experience tourism; exploring of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park - the World Natural Heritage and exploring of caves; spiritual and cultural history tourism; sea and resort tourism; community tourism; ecotourism and development of new tourism product groups including festival tourism (festival tour), MICE tourism (tourism combined meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions).
