18 people injured, over 1,500 houses damaged as Storm Vamco ravages central provinces
At least 18 people have been injured and over 1,500 houses damaged as Storm Vamco made landfall in the central provinces of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh on Sunday afternoon.

A house is damaged by the Storm Vamco in Thua Thien Hue on November 15
The figure was announced in a report by the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control released on the evening of November 15.
According to the committee, most of the damaged houses were reported in Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri and Quang Nam.

Storm Vamco, the 13th storm to have hit Vietnam this year, has weakened into a tropical low-pressure zone after ravaging many areas in the central region, according to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.
