Representatives from ministries and centrally-run agencies gave response to 19 suggestions offered by the province.

Speaking highly of achievements made by the province this year, the PM pointed out its advantages and potential that need to be tapped and requested completing development planning.

The province needs to effectively control the pandemic, push forward vaccination, develop strategic infrastructure to strengthen regional connectivity, pay attention to digital and climate change response infrastructure, connect tourist areas together and develop hi-tech agriculture, he said.

He suggested Quang Binh develop culture on par with its political and socio-economic progress, turn tourism into a pillar economy, and contribute to safeguarding national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and maintaining political stability, social security and order.

The leader also basically agreed with the province’s proposals and asked ministries and agencies to work closely with the locality to realise them.
