US$ 38 million to improve environment in Dong Hoi city
The total capital to implement this project is mainly loan capital from the World Bank. The Government provides with over US$ 8 million of counterpart fund and over US$ 1.3 million of non-refundable aid.
This project includes some main components, such as drainage and waste collection, building sewage disposal plant, solid waste management, rehabilitation, etc.
This project will be deployed in 16 communes and wards in Dong Hoi city and expected to be completely by the end of 2014.
After completed, this project will contribute to improve and develop infrastructure, create a fresh environment, meeting the needs for development of Dong Hoi city and tourist attraction.
It also helps to improve environmental sanitation, health, living standard for the local people, reduce level and effects of flooding and environmental sanitation.
