BEVERAGE MANUFACTURE PLANT

1. Location of the project

The project is located in Cam Lien Industrial Park which belongs to three communes of Cam Thuy, Thanh Thuy and Ngu Thuy Bac in Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province.

- On the Northeast: It borders Tan Hai village, Ngu Thuy Bac commune

- On the Southwest:  It borders Thanh Thuy and Cam Thuy communes, along National Road 1A

- On the Southeast:  It borders the inter-communal road from Cam Lien crossroads towards the beach;

- On the Northwest:  It borders the inter-communal road from Cuoi market towards the beach.

2. Objectives of the project

- To build the high-quality beverage manufacturing plant for domestic consumption and export;

- To reduce the product's price and enhance the competitive capacity;

- To meet the demand for domestic consumption and speed up the export; increase income for local budget; sustainably integrate into international and regional economy.

- To encourage the establishment of strong businesses and economic groups on the basis of mobilization of joint venture between beverage manufacturing companies.

- To build Quang Binh beverage industry to become a strong economic industry.

3. Scale of the Project

- Total land area: 02 hectares;

- Capacity:  50 million liters per year

4. Total estimated investment capital

At least VND 800 billion

5. Expected effectiveness of the project

- To build Quang Binh beverage industry to become a strong economic industry

- To encourage using domestic materials; developing the production of high-quality, prestigious and branded products; essuring food hygiene and safety; diversifying product categories; innovating packing and models.

- To get widespread and applicable in future.

6. Natural conditions and current situations of the project area

Topography:

- Natural land area of Le Thuy district:  142,052 hectares;

- The district borders the Annamite Mountain Range to the west which has a steep terrain with hills and mountains, 15km from Bang mineral hot spring, a popular tourist destination.

- The narrow plain is situated along the riversides of Kien Giang River.  A range of sand dunes is at the coastal area.  The coastal region of Le Thuy District is white sand dunes and fresh sea water. The Ngu Thuy beach is currently put into operation.

- Especially, with hilly terrain, Le Thuy’s land is sufficient for growing trees for input materials for the beverage factory. The area also has abundant water resources and features diversified natural landscapes.

Current situations of the project:

- This is the vacant land which has some protective forest and has not been cleared yet;

- The area has no registered projects. Therefore, investors can choose a suitable location to build the plant in Cam Lien Industrial Park.
