24 Hours Trekking Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park
This one-day journey is the perfect choice for those with little time but a passion for trekking in the primeval forest.
Moving along Road 20 Quyet Thang deep into the core area of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, we began our journey to explore Tra Ang valley, the first experience of which was to cross 2km of forest road.
Hidden in the primeval forest is a rich and rare ecosystem of flora and fauna. Luckily for us, we were able to witness the breeding season of butterfly butterflies in the early summer days. In any corner of Phong Nha forest, along the small streams or on both sides of the road… we could feast our eyes on flocks of butterflies flying in the sky.
Tra Ang Valley is hidden deep in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. Here there is a cave system 667m long, average width from 40m-50m with an underground river collecting water from Hang En, Hang Son Doong and Hang Va flowing into Tra Ang stream.
This stream has emerald green water originating from Tra Ang cave, running parallel to Road 20 Quyet Thang, with a length of more than 4km.
The journey to conquer and experience this route brought me many emotions. It was overcoming fear to conquer sharp rocks and then happily jumping into the cool water of Tra Ang stream. With the natural scenery like a fairyland, our group was free to take virtual photos, race kayaks or relax with foot massages with thousands of fish swimming around in the stream...
