Trong Hoa commune: 318 houses under Program 134 were put into use
After a time for implementing, the Program has created favorable condition for ethnic minority to develop economy, improve their living standard, contributing to change the people's life in mountainous areas, making a distance shorter between lowland and highland.
Trong Hoa is a poor commune of Minh Hoa district, the people's life here is very difficult. In the whole commune, there are 521 out of 574 households financed by the Program 134 of the Government with total capital of VND 4,168 million, of which the Central provides VND 5 million for each household, the province funds VND 3 million each.
After three years of implementing, there has been 318 completed houses, 62 houses being prepared for completing, reaching nearly 73% of the plan. In addition, President Nguyen Minh Triet gave a support of building capital for 50 resettlement households in Ra Mai village, worth nearly VND 57 million and the district also supported 23 houses extracted from the "deleting cottages" Fund. So far, 453 houses have been built spaciously in accordance with high mountainous areas and local customs of ethnic minority.
