Government approves policy to support for poor ethnic minorities
(Quang Binh Website) - The Prime Minister has recently issued Decision No.198/2007/QD-TTg to modify and supplement a number of articles of Decision No 134/2004/QD-TTg of July 20, 2004, ruling on policies of supporting production land, residential land, residential houses and daily-life water for poor ethnic minority households in disadvantaged areas.
According to Decision No.198/2007/QD-TTg, poor ethnic minorities living in mountainous areas, disadvantaged areas will be provided 0.5 tonnes of cement or 400,000 dong a household to build rainwater containers or dig wells, or six million dong a household to build houses.
The decision will take effect after 15 days after being released.
