Granting ceremony of book to Phuc Trach secondary school and Bo Trach high school No.4 is a meaningful activity within the framework of "Book for white sand region" program launched by QBO. Established in 2006, "Book for white sand region" program has collected old textbooks nationwide where QBO members are living and studying to grant to poor pupils in far-flung and remote areas of Quang Binh land, contributing to helping them overcome difficulties to study well at schools.

In 2008, "Book for white sand region" program will be directed towards mountainous communes of Bo Trach district, including communes of Son Trach, Phuc Trach, Lam Trach and Xuan Trach. QBO’s objective is to help poor pupils here have the awareness of the great values of Ke Bang limestone mountainous region. In this phase, QBO collected more than 6,500 diverse textbooks, of which over 4,000 books supported by Luong The Vinh high school and over 2,500 by Nguyen Tat Thanh high school. Moreover, Luong The Vinh high school also granted VND5 million each to Phuc Trach secondary school and Bo Trach high school No.4 to buy books and documents. It is known that "Book for white sand region" program collected 3,740 books and newspapers in 2006 and nearly 6,000 in 2007.

Addressing the ceremony, Professor Van Nhu Cuong, headmaster of Luong The Vinh high school stressed that: This is the first time Luong The Vinh high school has supported for "Book for white sand region" program, contributing to encouraging the spirit of studying of the pupils of Phuc Trach secondary school and Bo Trach high school No.4 and improving the quality of education of Bo Trach district. Professor Van Nhu Cuong also hoped that Phuc Trach secondary school and Bo Trach high school No.4 would overcome difficulties to teach well and study well, to be deserving of "two good" tradition of Quang Binh motherland.
