Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee had a working session with Petrovietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation about implementing investment cooperation between Petrovietnam and Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) - In the morning July 12 2008, the People’s Committee of Quang Binh province had a working session with the Petrovietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC) under the Petrovietnam about implementing investment cooperation between the Petrovietnam and Quang Binh province. Permanent Vice-chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Thi Bich Lua presided over the working.

Attending the working were Vice-chairman of PPC Nguyen Huu Hoai and representatives of related departments and branches.

Under the agreement between the provincial leader and Petrovietnam inked on June 20 2008 on implementing investment cooperation in Quang Binh province, PVC will study and set up the investment project to exploit two projects of Hon La Seaport Industrial Zone and the City’s Trade Center. At the working, PVC offered the PPC to direct related departments and branches in providing detailed documents about two projects for carrying out the field research and setting up investment project.

Addressing the working, Vice-chairwoman Pham Thi Bich Lua applauded the spirit of investment cooperation of PVC, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in Quang Binh province. She committed that the province will create favorable conditions for PVC in particular and the investors in general to study and set up investment project in the provincial area. Concurrently, she also asked related departments and branches to coordinate with PVC in introducing the position and supplying detailed information for the Corporation to implement investment.

After the working, the mission of PVC carried out a field trip in Hon La Seaport Industrial Zone and other fields in the provincial area.
