On March 25 2008, a shipwrecked case happened on Long Dai River in Truong Xuan commune, Quang Ninh district and left six dead people. In order to share losses with victims' families, Minister Ha Hung Cuong called upon contribution and assistance from the Vietnam Young Enterprise Association. With the spirit of mutual affection, the Vietnam Young Enterprise Association donated VND100 million to build six houses of gratitude for the relative of victims. So far, two houses have been completed, including house of Mr Vo Doan Thoan (father of Mr Vo Doan Hung - victim) and Mr Vo Phi Phac (husband of Mrs Vo Thi Thoai - victim). Minister Ha Hung Cuong together with the leader of the Vietnam Young Enterprise Association completed procedures to hand over to victims' families; concurrently hoped that families made their effort to escape poverty and stabilize the life.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Young Enterprise Association promised to donated VND100 million to help families eligible for preferential policies in Le Thuy district.
