Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development grants lifebuoy to primary pupils in Quang Binh province
Granting lifebuoys to pupils is to help children feel safe and convenient when travelling. This activity is in the program, titled "Social security 2009-2010" of the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development in order to help children of beneficiary families and poor people nationwide.
The above lifebuoys will be given to pupils of the primary schools of Duong Thuy and Son Thuy (Le Thuy district), Quang Tien and Quang Trung (Quang Trach district) at the soonest, said Mr Nguyen Van Bao, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial Labour Union.
Over the past two years, Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development also mobilized from the welfare fund and contributions of civil-servants to donate to Quang Binh province with the total money of 1,175 million VND, contributing to help and build house of gratitude and schools, and present gifts to beneficiary families in the provincial area.
