Attending the anniversary, there was Mr Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of province-level departments and agencies. On the side of the VBS Central Committee, there was superior Buddhist monk Thich Thien Nhon, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the VBS's Executive Council; superior Buddhist monk Thich Duc Nghiep; representatives of the VBS Central Committee and nearly 300 monks, nuns and buddhists from many provinces and cities.

Le Thanh Hau - Thuong Dang Than Nguyen Huu Canh (1650 - 1770) was born in Van Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province (former Phuoc Long village, Chuong Tin commune, Phong Loc district). He was credited with expanding Viet Nam’s territories to the south and laying the foundation for the city of Sai Gon, now known as HCM City, and southern provinces.

Addressing the anniversary, Mr Tran Cong Thuat, Permanent Vice-chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Board stressed that the organization of the 310th anniversary of Nguyen Huu Canh's death in Quang Binh was an opportunity to review the history of national liberation struggles and to express the gratefulness and to respect the historical and cultural values of Le Thanh Hau - Thuong Dang Than Nguyen Huu Canh.

Granting gifts to disadvantaged families in two communes of Truong Thuy and Van Ninh |
On this occasion, Vinh Nghiem pagoda and the Vingroup sponsor granted 200 gifts to disadvantaged families and poor children in two communes of Van Ninh and Truong Thuy; the Vietnam Youth Union presented VND20 million to the Quang Binh Youth Union to speed up charitable activities to help poor people in the provincial area.
