720 million VND to encourage students in central Quang Binh province to go to school

Since September 5th, the central province of Quang Binh province has mobilized 720 million VND to help students from poor families who may drop out of school.

The information was stated by director of Quang Binh provincial Department of Education and Training, Nguyen Ke Than, on September 14th.

This is the second year the Quang Binh province has implemented the significant event to mobilize material support from teachers, students, organizations and benefactors to help students from poor families in the locality.

520 students in the province have dropped out of school because of difficulties with material life.

The sum of money is used to support books, learning aids and clothes for these students.

The provincial Department of Education and Training asked district departments of education and training to coordinate with authorities and policy banks to create conditions for these students to get loans for their study.
