Quang Binh: Continue to deploy the ECHO project entitled ''Support the recovery of people affected by floods in Central Vietnam''
Concretely, Loc Thuy, Phong Thuy and Lien Thuy communes (Le Thuy district) have been given to VND966,600,000 in cash, 800 water filter jugs, 122,625 kilograms of urea fertilizer and 30 water containers; Duc Hoa and Van Hoa communes (Tuyen Hoa district) to VND224,000,000 in cash, 450 water filter jugs, 18,738 kilograms of rice seeds, 46,845 kilograms of urea fertilizer, 52 breeding cows and 20 water containers; Quang Son, Quang Trung, Quang Thuy and Quang Tan communes (Quang Trach district) to VND284,000,000 in cash, 930 water filter jugs, 36,494 kilograms of rice seeds, 93,735 kilograms of urea fertilizer, 112 breeding cows and 40 water containers.
The distribution of relief goods will be divided into two times. In the past time, the project's management board has carried out distribution of VND1,329,800,000 in cash and 2,180 water filter jugs. From May 17, 2011, the project's management board will distribute fertilizers to project-enjoyed communes of Le Thuy district; carry out a survey and receive 90 water containers for communes benefited from the project.
This is a meaningful activity to help people affected by floods in Quang Binh overcome difficulties and resume their lives.
