Delivering a speech at the event, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai stressed that the world natural heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park is considered as a kingdom of caves with hundreds of large and small caves in the limestone mountains like Thien Son cave, Phong Nha cave and Thien Duong cave, etc. Chairman asked the local authorities and people to raise their awareness to preserve the heritage and uphold the advantages of the caves to contribute to promoting socio-economic development of the province. Chairman also expressed his hope that businesses need to pay more attentions to tourism development and other advantages in the province.

At the event, audiences enjoyed many performances in the praise of special cultural characters and magnificent beauty of Quang Binh land and people. The programme also presented documentaries about Thien Duong Cave and other grottos to promote tourism; live exchanges with scientists and researchers who have surveyed the cave system talking about the beauty and geological characteristics of the caves and biodiversity of world natural heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Record Book Centre presented the certificate of national records to the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee and Truong Thinh Corporation with 11 recognitions of natural and social values of the province with so many famous and unique landscapes.

The programme "Travelling gigantic caves in Quang Binh" is not only an opportunity to propagandize and popularize tourism potentials, especially the magnificence and attraction of the cave system in Phong Nha - Ke Bang region, but also to improve the quality of tourism activities and the community’s awareness of protecting the heritage, contributing to preserving and upholding the advantages of the caves in the cause of building and developing the motherland more and more prosperous.
