New bat species discovered in Quang Binh Province
Scientists have discovered a new and unknown bat species inside Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the central province of Quang Binh, announced the management board of the National Park on Tuesday.

According to the team of eight scientists, ten bats of an unknown species have been sighted for the first time inside the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
This species is being considered to be part of the Rhinolophus species. They usually have big ears and leaf-shaped noses, which help transmit high pitch sound waves across further distances than other bat species.
