Quang Binh Provincial Border Guards receive noble order
The Border Guards’ Headquarters in Quang Binh Province received the second class National Protection and third class Feat of Arm Orders, presented by the State President on March 2nd, for their achievements.
Over the past five years, the unit has dealt with 1,104 cases and 1,994 law trangressors, seizing nearly 54 kilograms of drugs, over 47,700 methamphetamine tablets and over 2.5 tons of explosives.
The Border Guards’ Headquarters has also actively taken part in mass mobilization, poverty reduction and hunger elimination, improving local people’s lives.
Moreover, the unit, with their own budget and funds contributed by benefactors, has spent tens of billions of Vietnamese dong to build houses and welfare structures for the poor.
