Boost economic cooperation between the Slovak Republic and Quang Binh province

(Quang Binh Website) - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Tien Dung on November 5 gave a reception with Mr Igor Pacolák, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the occasion of his working visit to Quang Binh province.

At the reception, Vice Chairman Tran Tien Dung applauded the working visit of Slovakia mission and briefly informed socio-economic development situation and advantage fields of the province.

The friendly relationship between Vietnam and Slovakia has built during the past 63 years, he reaffirmed, hoping that this relationship will be more and more tightened.

He stressed that Vietnam and Slovakia in general, Quang Binh and Slovakia in particular have a lot of potential for cooperation in many fields, expressing his hope that the province and Slovakia enterprises could promote coordination in areas of their strength.

For his part, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam thanked for a warm reception of Quang Binh province, adding that the cooperation relationship between Slovakia and Vietnam, especially Quang Binh province would be boosted through investment cooperation in the provincial area.

On this occasion, Slovakia Ambassador and representative of BTG HOLDING granted USD10,000 to help Quang Binh province overcome storm-hit consequences.

On behalf of provincial leader, Vice Chairman Tran Tien Dung expressed his thank for assistance of Slovakia mission to disaster-hit victims in Quang Binh province in particular and Vietnam in general.
