Attending the reception was Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang; representative of relevant departments and branches.

At the reception, the new Vietnamese Consul General in Mumbai thanked a warm welcome of the Chairman of the Quang Binh People's Committee and affirmed a friendly relationship and cooperation for economic development between Vietnam and India in general, Quang Binh and Mumbai in particular over the past time.

The new Vietnamese Consul General in Mumbai hoped that Mumbai and Quang Binh would strengthen cooperation in tourism, education and training in the forthcoming time.

On behalf of provicial leaders, Chairman of the Quang Binh People's Committee expressed his pleasures to the delegation's visist to Quang Binh and thanked for the concern of Mr Vu Son Thuy given to Quang Binh.

He also briefly introduced about socio-economic development and potential as well as strengths of the province and hoped that the Consul General would support the province to carry out the ideas for its development.

Chairman also expressed his hope that new Vietnamese Consul General in Mumbai would do his utmost during his period of tenure to appeal for Indian businesses who might be interested to hear about Quang Binh’s investment climate, and who might invest in steel production, electricity, medicine, tourism and education of the province, contributing to boost investment cooperation between Quang Binh and Mumbai.
