Over 80,000 tourists flock to Quang Binh during Tet
Popular local tourist attractions such as Phong Nha Cave, Thien Duong Cave and tourist areas have attracted 8,000 tourists, including 1,000 international tourists, a high increase compared to the same period last year.
Spiritual tourist sites such as Than Dinh Mountain, Lieu Hanh Princess Temple and Tam Co Cave have welcomed 18,000 tourists for pilgrimage. Especially, a number of tourists to General Vo Nguyen Giap’s grave in Vung Chua area, Quang Dong commune (Quang Trach district) achieved 52,800.
In addition, the number of visitors staying overnight reached 4,500, of which 800 international arrivals.
In the first days of New Year, Chua Me Dat Company (Oxalis) has organized 9 tours, including 49 international tourists to discover Son Doong Cave - the world’s largest cave, Tu Lan Cave and En Cave.
