The meeting in celebration of 410 years of the establishment of Quang Binh province

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, leaders of ministers and central agencies, former leaders of the Party and State and representatives of provinces and cities throughout the country.

On the side of Quang Binh province, there were Mr. Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; members of the Standing Commitee of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, National Assembly Delegation and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee; armed forces, heroic Vietnamese mothers, former provincial leaders through the periods, leaders of departments and branches, unions, units and localities together with people in the province.

The anniversary is an opportunity to review the glorious history and revolutionary tradition after over four centuries of the establishment and development of Quang Binh land, and reaffirm strong determination and great efforts made by the province to successfully implement the cause of industrialization, modernization and building the motherland to become more properous.

In the opening speech, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Ngoc Binh reviewed the process of 410 years of the establishment and development of Quang Binh province, and great achievements in 30 years of implementing the renovation guidelines of the nation and 25 years of the reestablishment of the province.

The secretary called upon the whole Party, army and people of Quang Binh province to try their utmost, strengthen solidarity, make new changes in the process of building and developing Quang Binh in the new period.

On behalf of the Party and State, Deputy Prime Minister warmly congratulated excellent achievements that the Party Committee, authorities and people of Quang Binh province obtained during the process of building and developing. He praised the great efforts and contributions of Quang Binh to the cause of glorious revolution of the nation.

In the coming time, Deputy Prime Minister asked the Party Committee and people of Quang Binh to try their best to successfully implement the stated targets and tasks with a focus on exploiting and developing potentials and advantages of the province, making a new breakthrough in socio-economic development; developing economic growth towards improving productivity, quality and effectiveness; strongly paying attention to culture, social security and national defence.

On this ocassion, the Party Committee and people of Quang Binh province honorably received the Ho Chi Minh Order, a noble reward presented by the Party and State for their great achievements and contributions to the cause of building and protecting the fatherland.
