Implementing the Memorandum of Understanding signed on June 3, 2013 at Thakhek town (Khammouane) between the Department of Public Security of Quang Binh province and Public Security Department of Khammouane Province, two sides have closely coordinated to ensure security and social order along the common borderline, contributing to the cause of national security protection and strenthening traditional relationship between two sides.

At the talk, two sides evaluated situation of border security cooperation, criminal activity and social order along the Vietnam-Lao borderline; dicussed difficulties and put forward orientations for cooperation in the forthcoming time.

Two sides affirmed that they would coordinate together to well implement the Memmorandum of Understanding to boost friendship and cooperative relations between the public security forces and people of two provinces.
