High-level delegation of Khammouane and Quang Binh held talks and signed a cooperation agreement for 2016 on March 27. The event was attended by Mr. Oday Sudaphon, Secretary of the Party Committee, Governor of Khammouane province; Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Binh province; Mr. Tran Cong Thuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Quang Binh province; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee together with representatives of related agencies and localities of two sides.

Signing cooperation agreement for 2016

At the talks, two sides informed each other of socio-economic development, national defence - security, work of building the Party, authorities, front and unions of each province; reviewed results of implementing the friendly cooperation agreement which was signed in Thakhek town on January 30, 2015.

Accordingly, under the leadership of the Party Committee and authorities of two province, despite of meeting a lot of difficulties and chanllenges, the Party building has gained many important results. Socio-economic situation of each province has strongly developed, the people's life has been improved, national defence and security have been upheld, diplomatic activities have been boosted, friendly relation and comprehensive cooperation between two provinces have been developed and expanded...

Two sides discussed and agreed on contents and cooperation orientations for 2016 in all fields, aiming to develop comprehensive cooperation relationship, of which focusing on periodic exchanges between high-level delegations under various forms; strenthening trade promotion activities, investment and tourism; promoting cooperation in nature conservation and values of biological diversity in world natural heritage site, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park and Hin Nam No Natural Biodiversity Conservation Area; building a peaceful, friendly, stable borderline; strengthening information exchanges, collaboration in control and prevention from smuggling and illegal imigration; speeding up cooperation in other advantaged fields of each side.
