Non-governmental organizations to provide a non-refundable aid of US$713,000

Leader of the Department of Foreign Affairs works wih the Golden West Humanitarian Foundation.
Specifically, there are six projects in health, three in education and training, three in capacity building and justiciary assistance, one in environmental resources and one in urgent rescue.
Besides, some non-governmental organizations are giving a support to implement the projects in the province. Concretely, the Golden West Humanitarian Foundation offers a non-refundable aid of US$242,000 to implement the explosive objects detection project; PCM project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) with a total budget of 6.2 million Swiss Franc for the four provinces, including Quang Binh (the project is carried out in two districts of Bo Trach and Quang Trach and Dong Hoi city, covering 21 communes, 81 villages and 6 schools, etc).
Generally, the projects have helped local people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and improved ecological environment, contributing to socio-economic development of the locality.
