Besides, the province strives to welcome 5.5 million tourists by 2020, including 5.2 million domestic tourists and 300 thousand international tourists. Total turnover of tourism reaches VND6,958 billion, paying VND600 billion in the State budget. The tourism sector accounts for 12%, the service - tourism sector makes up 52% in total GRDP.

In addition, the agencies and localities focus on effectively exploiting resources of tourism, creating driving force for socio-economic development, providing stable jobs for laborers and improving income for people; diversifying tourism products and services.

In particular, the agencies and localities create a civilized and equal tourism environment, affirming the trade name of Quang Binh tourism as an attractive, safe and friendly destination on the Vietnam and regional tourist maps; build Quang Binh to become a tourism center of the coutnry and the Southeast Asia region.

In order to complete the set targets, the province focuses on work of propaganda to enhance the awareness of position, role and benefit of the tourism and service sector; strengthens the planning, support and investment of the Sate and mobilizes all resources for tourism development.

In addition, all levels, agencies and localities speed up tourism promotion and popularization; gradually standardize and improve quality of services; take comprehensive solutions to ensure security and safety for tourists; build a safe and clean tourism environment; pay attention to protecting and preserving natural resources and sustainable tourism development, raise competitiveness and bring tourism to become a spearhead economic sector of the province.
