In nine months of 2017, En Cave attracts 2,319 tourists
In order to promote the tourist route of En Cave, in 2017, Oxalis Company in coordination with the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park has organised a pilot tour of En Cave - Lanh (Cold) Cave with satisfactory results.
In the first nine months of 2017, the tourist routes of Rao Thuong - En Cave and En Cave - Lanh Cave attracted 2,319 tourists, grew by 425 tourists compared to 2016. Total revenues reached over VND 16.6 billion.
Besides, the Company also said that the route of Va Cave also lured a large number of tourists in 2017 compared to the previous year with 832 tourists; the route of discovery of Tu Lan Cave system and Tien (Fairy) Cave reached 5,823 tourists with a total revenues of over VND 17.8 billion.
Apart from safety guarantee for tourists during the exploitation of the tours, the Company has paid attention to conservation of the heritage's values and biodiversity in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
In addition, the Company also ensured environmental sanitation, natural landscape, the lowest negative impacts to the environment and scenery of the cave in line with the sustainable tourism development scheme of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang national park.
As estimated, the Company will promote the tour of Rao Thuong - En Cave and En Cave - Lanh Cave in the tourism season of 2018 with approximately 3,000 tourists; Va Cave tour with about 1,000 tourists.
