PUM organisation seeks cooperation opportunities in Quang Binh

At the meeting, representative of PUM briefly introduced about the organisational structure, operational fields and some typical achievements of PUM in Vietnam and the world.
Accordingly, PUM is a non-profit organisation with the aim of supporting the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the consulting activity.
In Vietnam, PUM has implemented the supporting programmes for SMEs with a total operational duration from two years and over, and start-up enterprises in the fields of business administration, agriculture, chemistry, electricity, electronics, information technology, communications, education, tourism, hotel, garment, trade, wood processing, etc through inviting senior experts to consult and help establishment of relation with Dutch enterprises.
So far, PUM has annually implemented about 100 small-sized projects in Vietnam and provided a free support for 200 senior experts in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Dalat, the Mekong Delta and its neighboring regions.
In the period of 2010-2017, many non-governmetnal programmes and projects funded by the Dutch organisations and partners have been carried out in Quang Binh province with a total investment of USD 630,000. The projects have mainly focused on the fields of argiculture and rural development in cope with negative impacts caused by the climate changes.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Quang also informed of socio-economic situation, potentials and advantages of the province, programmes and projects that Quang Binh is cooperating with the Netherlands.
He put forwards some fields that Quang Binh should be supported such as environment, agriculture and rural development, tourism, health and industry.
Vice Chairman applauded the PUM's sustainable and positive activities aimed at helping SMEs, and highly evaluated the PUM's cooperation for development of the province.
