Modern waste treatment plant to be built in Quang Binh province

Work has begun on a waste treatment factory worth more than 35 million USD in Quang Trach district, the central province of Quang Binh.
The Mien Trung Green Environment Co. Ltd plant will be equipped with advanced equipment from the Republic of Korea, according to Quang Trach People’s Committee.
It is scheduled to become operational in June 2019 and be able to treat 200 tonnes of daily waste a day collected from across Quang Trach district and nearby Ba Don township.
This is the second waste treatment factory with modern technology in Quang Binh province, and it is hoped to ease pollution at local landfill sites.
