Attending the workshop were Mr. Nguyen Vu Tung, Ambassador of Vietnam at Korea; Mr. Ahn Min Sik, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Da Nang and leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Tourism/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces including Quang Nam - Da Nang - Thua Thien Hue - Quang Binh, Tourism Association, Travel Association, Hotel Association and nearly 150 tourism businesses, including about 80 Korean travel agencies.

At the workshop, many Korean travel partners expressed their desire to organize charter flights and all-inclusive tours for customers during the peak tourism season at the end of 2021 and the New Year of 2022. The delegates also focused on introducing the tourism opening policy and product packages for Korean tourists in each locality. Many issues related to the opening process and pandemic control will be discussed more deeply in the part of exchanging ideas between central tourism businesses and Korean travel agencies.

It is known that before the Covid-19 pandemic, Korea was a key international tourist market of the Central region with 2,754,563 arrivals in 2019, accounting for nearly 26.17% of the total international arrivals. In 2019, there were 19 regular flight routes from South Korea in the total of 35 regular international flight routes and charter flights to Da Nang and the Central region, with a frequency of 214 flights per week... . The total of international arrivals in Quang Binh - Thua Thien Hue - Da Nang - Quang Nam has grown steadily, reaching 6.5 million arrivals in 2019.

Quang Nam has 02 world cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO including the ancient town of Hoi An and the My Son temple complex and the art of Bai Choi - Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and Cu Lao Cham-Hoi An Biosphere Reserve.

Quang Binh is currently focusing on building luxury sport, entertainment and health care tourism products at Bang Hot Spring Resort, FLC Quang Binh golf course; ecotourism products, package tours to discover the unique values of nature and stay in cave systems, isolated resorts such as Tu Lan cave system, Tien cave, Chay Lap farmstay; Son Doong MR Tour, virtual space – a real experience.
