As of early April 2008, the Standing Committee of Provincial Group has organized the contest "Quang Binh youths with world natural heritage, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park"; camping fair "Pride of Phong Nha - Ke Bang" which will be held from July 25 - 27 2008 in Son Trach, Bo Trach district; offering incense at the relic area, letting out flower garlands and coloured lanterns on Son river and so forth. These activities aim at improving the awareness of Quang Binh youths of Phong Nha - Ke Bang world natural heritage, developing solutions on protecting, preserving, embellishing and using the Heritage through learning about knowledge of the origin, history, culture and nature. Concurrently, this is a good chance to propagandize and publicize tourism potentials of Quang Binh, especially world-unique values of world natural heritage, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park for domestic and foreign tourists.
