The 5th anniversary of Dong Hoi city's establishment and receiving ceremony of Third-grade Independence Medal
Attending the ceremony, there were Mr Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr Phan Lam Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party; the Provincial Standing People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee; heroic Vietnamese mothers; representatives of departments, branches and six districts in the province. On the side of Dong Hoi city, there were Mr Nguyen Xuan Quang, Alternate member of the Party's Central Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoi City Committee of the Party; Mr Tran Dinh Dinh, Chairman of the City People's Committee; members of the City Standing Committee of the Party; People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the City; representatives of agencies, units and related localities in the provincial area.

Addressing the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Luong Ngoc Binh warmly praised and congratulated great achievements that the Party Committee and people of Dong Hoi city obtained in the past five years. He underlined that being an urban center with the function as a political, economic, cultural, scientific hub of the province, a tourist and service center of Bac Trung Bo region, Dong Hoi city has a great influence to the development of the province and region. This is both a pride and great responsibility of the Party Committee and people of Dong Hoi city in new period, in the period of industrialization and modernization, integration and development, contributing to building and developing Dong Hoi to become a prosperous, civilized, beautiful and modern sea city.
