In 2017, Bo Trach district's total retail sales of goods and services reached more than VND 4.700 billion, reached 106% of the plan, increased nearly 16% from the same period last year.

In particular, the locality has received and served more than 757 visitors, grew by 25% from the same period last year, including 112,000 international visitors, rose by 57% against the same period last year.

Traditional festivals have been restored, attracting more visitors

In order to achieve these results, the district has encouraged the projects and enterprises to speed up investment in tourist destinations as well as take advantage of all supports, focused on mobilising all resources, strengthening tourism promotion activities in domestic and foreign markets, etc.

Besides, the district's tourism resources have been effectively exploited, technical infrastructure system has been built and upgraded; many traditional festivals have been restored and maintained; historical relic sites have been embellished. Many new tours have been opened such as exploring caves of Dai A, Over and Pygmy; discovering ethnic minority people of Van Kieu - Khe Nuoc Lanh - Van Cong Cave; learning about the culture of ethnic minority people of Arem and Ma Coong and exploring Ruc Ca Roong cave; tour of exploring Son Doong cave with a new four day and three night route.

Defining tourism as one of key economic sectors, in the upcoming time, Bo Trach district will continue improving quality of existing tourism products, diversifying tourism products, developing new products and strengthening investment in infrastructure construction, etc.
