A total of 351 communes free of temporary, dilapidated houses
From February 21-28, 7,540 temporary and dilapidated houses were renovated or replaced nationwide, bringing the total number of facilities improved under humanitarian policy to 115,481. Of these, 62,737 houses were inaugurated, while construction began on another 52,744.

The localities include the south central province of Binh Thuan (15 communes), the northern province of Nam Dinh (175 communes), the central province of Quang Binh (31 communes), the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang (59 communes), the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai (2 communes), the southern province of Binh Phuoc (2 communes), the southern province of Dong Nai (21 communes), the central province of Khanh Hoa (16 communes), the central province of Phu Yen (1 commune), and the central city of Hue (29 communes).

The housing support has been distributed across several categories, with nearly 8,200 homes for people who rendered service to the nation, over 55,800 under two national target programmes, and more than 51,400 under the campaign on doing away with temporary and dilapidated housing./.
